Originating from Tudor and Victorian origins, The Oaksmere has achieved a distinct blend of contemporary style across the hotel including its 10 individual boutique bedrooms. When the Oaksmere asked us to help them bring their vision of a new state of the art restaurant, kitchen and lounge area to life, we knew it had to be something unique, whilst carrying their brand of exquisite quality.
We made the tables seen in the restaurant out of Karndean flooring in order to give them a distinct, stylish look whilst knowing that the quality of the materials meant that they were built to last. Once the tables had been cut to the required shape, we then edged the Karndean with a copper finish to add that extra element of class that The Oaksmere is known for. In order to keep with a consistent theme, we also floored the restaurant with Karndean. Karndean is a leading global brand of luxury vinyl flooring, known for it's durability and style.
The lobby features leather models from our Vintage collection, placed to give off a warm, classic feel that's naturally complimented by the impressive, resident Victorian fire place. Due to the existing character featured throughout the hotel, there was no need for dominating ornaments or extras. Instead we added hand picked finishing touches that we felt enhanced the individual features of each room. An example of this would be the white Stags Head located above the fire place in the waiting lobby. Similar to the lobby, the Bar area also featured strong character through the inherant Victorian windows and wooden beams. We felt that simple hanging bulbs and steel, rustic stools would compliment the area nicely without taking the attention away from the existing craftsmanship.
Each of the 10 individual boutique bedrooms feature luxury,British made Hypnos beds, distinct wallpaper and hand picked bedroom furniture that we felt complimented each individual room whilst keeping in line with what The Oaksmere was trying to achieve.Call 01379 873940to book your room now!
