Renvale Limited specialise in motorsport sensors and wiring and have recently moved into an impressive, large new premises in Eye. When they approached us to measure and quote for the flooring and fitting work that they required, we came back to them with a personalised, all inclusive package that worked around their busy schedule and matched their time-frame for completion.
At John Doe, our in-house team of expert fitters know that floor preparation is one of the, if not the most important part of a job - which is why we only use the best products. The ground floor at Renvale received a latex screed onto the concrete base whilst we installed special flooring grade plyboard to the 1st floor to give us the perfect sub-floor in order to then install the various floor coverings. We also use the highest quality adhesives specific to each type of floorcovering that we install.
Throughout the project we used a different type of flooring, chosen specifically for each individual area’s needs:
• Burmatex Strands Carpet Tiles laid chequered style to create a stylish effect in offices and meeting areas
• The corridors had grey carpet tiles also fitted chequerboard style
• Polysafe Mystique To the working areas, workshops, stairs and landing. An extremely hard wearing, easy to clean non slip vinyl safety flooring.
• Gradus Stair nosings were used on the stairs for health & safety purposes.
• Polyflor Expona Luxury Vinyl Tiles were laid broken bond style. Two different colour were used in different areas but both were used in the canteen to create a walkway and table area (see photo: grey and white)
• Polyflor quattro was fitted to the toilet and shower areas and coved up the walls 100mm with a sealed cap on top to create a hard wearing safety floor tolerant to spillages and splashing of water.
• Burmatex armour matting carpet tiles were used in the entrance to help take the dirt off peoples feet upon entrance.
